Former Woodbrook Elementary School fifth grade teacher Nicholas Clark will be back in court on Aug. 27 at 3 p.m.

The meeting will take place Aug. 4 at 10 a.m. at the Albemarle County Office Building.

46-year-old Randall Fisher of Orange has been charged and is being held without bond after being detained by UVA Police early Thursday morning. The victim, who sustained non-life-threatening injuries, was released from the UVA Medical Center later that morning.

Daquan Hoffman was wanted on charges in both the city and county and turned himself into authorities without incident.

The meeting, which will be held before the division’s Aug. 12 start of school date, will be used to discuss “the scope, cost and structure” of an independent investigation. 

The child’s mother brought her from Louisa to the Goochland Sheriff’s Office on July 4. She was later pronounced dead at Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital in Henrico.

Charlottesville Police arrested 48-year-old Michael Shaft Brewington in connection with last Thursday’s sexual assault at the Free Bridge encampment.

No injuries were reported. CPD closed the street down briefly.

43-year-old Adrian Brigido-Dominguez of Keswick was arrested on Monday following a domestic incident.
