A Charlottesville man and Crozet man were arrested as part of the online operation.

Threats made against the schools and their staffs put both Buffalo Gap High School and Middle School in lockdown. There was also a bomb threat at Augusta Health, but the hospital was search and declared clear after a three hour search.

A 49-year-old man was brought to the Louisa County Sheriff’s office Tuesday having suffered an apparent gunshot wound.

Randolph Scott Garr has been indicted on four counts, and was taken into custody Friday.

The county hopes the bump in pay will help bolster ACPD’s recruitment.

41-year old Jonathan A. Iseman was wanted in Augusta, Rockbridge, Waynesboro and Charlottesville

Dr. Cerina Fairfax was shot and killed by her husband, former Virginia Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax, in what police have labeled a murder-suicide.

Drug overdoses are down but the Charlottesville police are focused on continuing to reduce the flow of drugs into the community and the criminal enterprise that surrounds it.

Police are still searching for a 24-year-old suspect.

Officers responded to a report of shots fired near the 600 block of Lockesley Terrace.
