Two men dressed in all black and wearing black ski masks robbed a person at gunpoint early Monday morning.

Samuel Lawrence led Greene County Sheriff’s deputies on a chase Friday, and was taken into custody Sunday.

CPD is investigating a shooting early Saturday morning where someone fired a gun into an occupied home. No injuries were reported.

Nicholas J. Clark, a fifth grade teacher at Woodbrook Elementary School, is charged with possessing child pornography and distributing child pornography, both felonies, the Albemarle County Police Department announced. He is being held without bond at the Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail.

Marcus Alejandro Albay is facing malicious wounding, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and shooting into an occupied dwelling.
