Commonwealth’s Attorney Joe Platania is voicing serious concern over the rise in gun violence in Charlottesville, noting an unsettling pattern of younger, more sophisticated suspects who are often masked and heavily armed.

Charlottesville Police have posted a video capture of five males on Hardy Drive when gunfire resulted October 19 in 25-year old Albemarle resident Travis S. Houchens, Jr. being hit in the leg, as well as shots hitting an apartment building and car.
