ACPD believes shots were fired during altercation
The Board voted Wednesday to leave the advertised real estate tax rate the same.
The Planning Commission rejected petitions earlier this year, but Board decisions are binding.
The Albemarle Board of Supervisors is expected to vote on the plan at its Wednesday meeting.

While overall calls to the ACPD went up 23% in 2025, Part I crimes dropped by 13%, gun violence fell by 30% and violent crime dipped by 23%, according to the ACPD’s annual report.
