CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) — Albemarle County Police arrested 43-year-old Adrian Brigido-Dominguez of Keswick following a brief vehicle pursuit Monday, according to an ACPD release.

Officers responded to reports of an intoxicated man brandishing a weapon on the 600 block of Black Cat Road at approximately 5:48 p.m. Brigido-Dominguez fled the scene by vehicle upon the officers’ arrival.

The pursuit ended after officers utilized a controlled maneuver to safely bring Brigido-Dominguez’s vehicle to a stop.

He was taken into custody and charged with felony eluding, driving under the influence, three counts of brandishing a firearm, driving without a license, refusal of a breath test.

He is being held without bond at the Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail.
