CHARLOTTESVILLE (WINA) – Charlottesville Police have arrested a suspect accused of killing a Gordonsville man who was driving through the 10th and Page neighborhood on Hardy Drive February 22. Detectives have arrested 19-year old Charlottesville resident Raymaqu’a Antonio Nicholas in the shooting death of 20-year old Nicklous Pendleton. Nicholas is charged with 2nd-degree murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony after Pendleton was shot in the 800 block Hardy Drive shortly after 3:30 that Wednesday afternoon.

He was taken into custody Wednesday without incident. It’s an ongoing investigation and Charlottesville Police are releasing no more information, but urge anyone who knows or saw anything in this incident to call Crime Stoppers at 977-4000.
