CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) Six more Virginia baseball players were selected on Day 2 of the MLB draft on Monday, giving the program its most draft picks since 2015.

A day after infielder Henry Godbout went to Boston in the second round, outfielder/pitcher Chris Arroya was picked by Miami (Round 5), pitcher Jack O’Connor went to Los Angeles (Round 8), pitcher Jay Woolfolk went to Atlanta (Round 12), infielder Luke Hanson was taken by Texas (Round 15), pitcher Matt Lazendorfer was selected by Los Angeles (Round 17) and pitcher Ryan Osinski went to the New York Yankees (Round 17).

This year’s selections mark the 10th time in program history UVA has had six or more players taken in the draft. Virginia has had atleast four players picked in 18 of the last 22 drafts.
