Charlottesville, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Quentin Beckham, principal broker of KW Alliance, joined Cville Right Now Live, sharing his experiences aiding disaster relief efforts in North Carolina. While reflecting on the impact of recent storms, Beckham emphasized the importance of disaster readiness. “You can’t depend on local authorities to do that… they’re either overwhelmed, or they can’t go out, cause it’s a safety risk for them as well,” he noted, stressing the need for individuals to have their own plans in place.

Beckham ‘s week included organizing relief efforts for communities in North Carolina that were severely affected by flooding, particularly areas where residents were left without clean water. “Loaded up a truck on Monday and traveled across North Carolina…gathering supplies,” he explained, highlighting the collaboration between KW Inc. and other states to assist those in need.

Drawing parallels to Charlottesville, Beckham underscored the importance of disaster preparedness locally, stating that unexpected events can affect even those outside of traditional flood zones. He urged residents to check their homes’ flood risk and plan for the unexpected.
