Former longtime University of Virginia President John Casteen has died at age 81 after a brief pancreatic cancer battle.

Emergency crews responded to a tractor trailer crash in the 9000 block of Rockfish Gap Turnpike late Tuesday morning that left corn debris scattered across the roadway.
