An e-bike rider is the victim, and an SUV driver faces charges, in a fatal hit-and-run crash Sunday night in Augusta County.

A gunshot victim was dropped off early Monday morning at the main entrance gate of Lake Monticello, according to the Fluvanna County Sheriff’s Department. The victim’s condition was not known.

Albemarle Police have a serial hit-and-run suspect in custody after a suspended earlier day police pursuit, then an ultimate crash later where he was caught.
