Dawn Marie Morris, 51, of Louisa, was convicted for selling drugs, including marijuana and psilocyn, in Louisa County. Morris was also convicted of perjury after falsely claiming financial hardship in her application for court-appointed counsel.

A search warrant executed by the 3A Regional Drug and Gang Task Force on Tuesday led to six arrests in the 1600 block of Old Brook Road in Albemarle County. The operation involved schedule II narcotics seizures and resulted in charges for drug and firearm offenses, as well as outstanding shoplifting warrants.
Tyler Timothy Gregory, 25, was taken into custody on Wednesday in Scottsville. Gregory faces charges in North Carolina, including 1st Degree Statutory Sexual Offense, 1st Degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor, and 2nd Degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor.
The NCAA has announced its latest Graduation Success Rate (GSR) data for student-athletes, covering the 2014-15 to 2017-18 freshman cohorts. The University of Virginia (UVA) achieved a 96 percent GSR, matching its highest rate ever for the second consecutive year. UVA is ahead of the national GSR average of 91 percent.
