ETTRICK, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – UPDATE: Two men have been arrested following a quadruple shooting Tuesday night on the campus of Virginia State University in Ettrick. The two 21-year-old suspects are charged with brandishing firearms, but Chesterfield County police have not yet connected them to the four people currently being treated for non-life-threatening injuries in Petersburg hospitals.
Chesterfield County and campus police are investigating four people shot overnight at Virginia State University in Ettrick outside of Petersburg. Investigators say four people were taken to Petersburg area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries after the shootings around 12:30 this morning on Boisseau Street near Daniel Gymnasium. None of the victims are enrolled at the University. Police have identified multiple suspects, and charges are pending as they expect to make arrests.
Classes at VSU don’t start until Monday.
