WASHINGTON, DC (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Metro Transit Police have arrested a man carrying a loaded shotgun aboard a bus after he allegedly tried to evade paying the fare. Metro plainclothes police officers working with bus enforcement stopped the suspect who was on the X2 route, which operates between the Minnesota Avenue and Lafayette Square subway stations. After the suspect refused to pay the fare owed, officers arrested him and found the loaded weapon under his coat. Charges are pending.
