CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Charlottesville Police are looking for a suspect in a shooting shortly after 7 yesterday evening at Cherry Avenue and Ridge Street.
A victim was taken to UVa with non-life threatening injuries and police early this morning have warrants for Corinthian “Zayquan” Brown on four charges including malicious wounding.

The call initially came in from Prospect Avenue, but the investigation revealed the shooting a short distance away at Cherry and Ridge. Brown has been charged with the following:

18.2-51-Malicious Wounding
18.2-286.1-Shooting from a Vehicle
18.2-154-Malicously Shooting at a Vehicle
18.2-53.1-Use of Firearm During Malicious Wounding
