CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Just after 11:00pm on Wednesday night (July 3, 2024), Charlottesville police responded to the 2000 block of Michie Drive following reports of shots fired.

No injuries were reported.

Police officers reported finding eight cartridge casings in the parking lot of an apartment building. They discovered one home and two vehicles were damaged.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
