CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA. (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) — Albemarle County Police are investigating a report of shots fired on the 3400 block of Berkmar Drive at approximately 1:10 a.m. on Saturday.

Officers located multiple shelling casings upon their arrival and found one gunshot victim who self-transported to UVA Health in non-life threatening condition. No other injuries have been reported.

In its release, ACPD said there will be a large police presence in the area as the investigation continues.
