CHARLOTTSVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – The murder suspect in the April 9 12th and Rosser shooting has turned himself in. Charlottesville Police have been looking for Sidney Montcellus Stinnie since two days after 31-year Deqwane Brown was shot inside his vehicle, and pronounced dead a short time after officers arrived. Stinnie turned himself in today (Monday) without incident and is being held at the Albemarle-Charlottesville Regional Jail. He’s currently charged with 2nd-degree murder and two firearms counts as the investigation continues.
