GLADSTONE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – State Police are investigating a crash that killed a Bedford man in Nelson County. State Police say 63-year old Harry B. Bare II was driving a 2000 Honda CRV north on Piedmont Road near Galilee Road just west of Gladstone when the vehicle ran off the left side of the road, hit a tree, and overturned. Bare, who was not wearing a seat belt, was partially ejected and died at the scene.
