ALBEMARLE COUNTY, VA – On Wednesday, March 8, 2023, Albemarle County Police Department and the U.S. Marshal’s Office developed information that Mr. Taquarius Olando Catoe-Anderson, a fugitive wanted on violent felony charges, was staying at an address in Albemarle County on Inglewood Drive.

Mr. Catoe-Anderson, 21, was wanted on several charges from the City of Charlottesville.

  • 2-51.2A Malicious Wounding (2 counts)
  • 2-53.1 Using a firearm in the commission of a felony (2 counts)

Albemarle County Police along with the U.S. Marshal’s located Mr. Catoe-Anderson at the Inglewood address and placed him in custody, without incident. A firearm was also recovered at the residence.

After apprehension, Mr. Catoe-Anderson was turned over to the Charlottesville Police Department for booking.
