CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – The Louisa County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fracas that left four injured on Monday night.
Shortly before 9 p.m., the Louisa County Emergency Communications Center received a 911 call from someone in distress. The caller was unable to give details but reported a male was fighting and injuring people at a home in the 15000 block of Jefferson Highway in Louisa.
Responding deputies located two adult males, one juvenile male, and one adult female. One of the adult males had sustained life-threatening injuries consistent with a stab wound and was airlifted for emergency medical treatment. The remaining victims were evaluated and treated by medical personnel on the scene.
Deputies are working to determine the circumstances leading up to the assault and to identify all parties involved.
