FARMVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – State Police continue investigating a fatal motorcycle crash that happened last Wednesday in Prince Edward County. State Police say 39-year old Keysville resident James A. Floyd was riding his 2008 Harley Davidson Nightster southbound on Abilene Road around 5:40 that afternoon and attempted to pas s a Ford F450 also headed south. While trying to pass, Floyd’s Harley hit a northbound Mercedes GLC-Class, then the pickup hit the motorcycle.

Floyd died at the scene, and the Mercedes driver, 47-year old Andrea R. Lee of Rice, suffered minor injuries. The pickup driver was not hurt.
