WASHINGTON (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – The U.S. Small Business Administration has announced the availability of low interest federal disaster loans for small businesses and private non-profits who sustained economic losses caused by severe storms in January that resulted in power outages and boil-water advisories. The winter storms moved through the week of January 5-through-11 and primary counties covered locally are Fluvanna and Louisa counties. These loans are for working capital needs caused by the disaster and available even if there’s no physical damage. They can be used to pay fixed debts, payroll, accounts payable, and other bills not paid due to the disaster. Click here for all SBA information.
