Charlottesville, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Charlottesville comedy enthusiasts are in for a treat tonight, Wednesday, November 27th, as local comedian Chris Alan brings his unique blend of humor and storytelling to The Southern for a one-night show. With doors opening at 6:30 PM and the show starting at 8:00 PM, this event promises a night of laughter, drinks, and connection during the holiday season.  

Chris Alan, a veteran turned comedian, shared his journey into comedy during a recent interview. “I was on active duty at the time in the Air Force and just really not happy, like just looking for something else to do,” he explained. “People were like, Chris, you’re funny. You should give comedy a shot. And I finally was like, you know what? I think I’ll do that.” 

The show, which Alan describes as “two really good friends meeting up again,” will feature crowd interaction and improvised humor. “We ask people to invite your friends, come in, and tell us some funny stories from your past so we can like, you know, just make fun of you guys and laugh about it,” Alan said.
