IVY, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – Scott Ramm, the owner of Scott’s Ivy Exxon, joined Charlottesville Right Now to discuss the significant expansion plans for his gas station on Ivy Road. Ramm revealed that the station, which has been in business since 2012, will soon undergo construction to add five service bays and expand the existing facilities. 

Ram explained the need for the expansion, stating, “We’ve developed to where we’re adding basically 5 service bays… we’ll be able to do more with the same facility.” This expansion aims to improve efficiency and service capacity, allowing the station to handle a 50% increase in car repairs. 

Construction is set to begin next week, following a lengthy approval process.

Ramm noted, “It’s probably going to be a six to 12-month process to completion.”

Despite the construction, the station plans to remain open, with minimal disruptions expected.
