The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for the area that slightly shortens the predicted duration beginning 7 p.m. Saturday until 1 a.m. Monday.

If the weekend’s forecasted inclement weather forces school closings next week, Albemarle County Public Schools said any more than two missed days will result in an adjustment to the calendar, the division announced Friday.
