The Augusta County Sheriff has a Waynesboro man in custody after he allegedly fired shots at a man Sunday morning in the 200 block of White Hill Road, just off the Mint Spring exit of I-81.

The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for Charlottesville and surrounding areas, including Albemarle, Greene, and Nelson counties, as well as parts of Augusta and Rockingham counties. The warning remains in effect until 7 PM this evening.
