 All four candidates for the Charlottesville School Board will be at the Jefferson School this evening at 6 for a candidate forum.

 A University of Virginia Center for Politics study of more than 2000 registered voters in the U.S. finds a large number — although not a majority — showing partisan desires overriding support for Constitutional freedom and American values.

The Democratic members of Virginia’s congressional delegation have called on the U.S. Department of Justice to investigate after an apparent administrative error led to at least 275 people being improperly removed from the state’s voter rolls.

Officials say at least 275 voters have been wrongly removed.

 Governor Youngkin’s Spirit of Virginia PAC announces it raised $7.45-million in the 3rd quarter of 2023… ahead of the November General Assembly elections.

A poll done by Research America for the University of Mary Washington Center for Leadership and Media Studies shows an evenly-divided electorate deciding November’s legislative elections. 

Early voting begins in Virginia Friday with everyone in Virginia choosing their General Assembly reps… and many choosing for their Board of Supervisors, City Council, and/or School Board.

The former special forces Green Beret joins several other Republicans and an independent already in the race.

 Not only has Albemarle Republican Delegate Rob Bell announced he’s not running for re-election this year, he’s stepped down from the General Assembly as of today and has begun work in state Attorney General Jason Miyares’ office

After announcing an initial diagnosis in April, Virginia 10th District Congresswoman Jennifer Wexton said a severe form of Parkinson’s means she won’t seek re-election in 2024.
