Donald Trump’s first post-debate stop, of all places, will be Friday in Virginia. 

Though the John McGuire campaign claims the 5th District Congressional election numbers are “certified” in the 5th District, the Virginia Department of Elections website says actual certification has not occurred until the July 2nd State Board of Elections meeting to do so. 

5th District Congressman Bob Good accuses Albemarle County of misguiding his campaign over the county board of elections canvassing of the Republican primary votes.

Area voters went to the polls Tuesday for Republican and Democratic primaries in the 5th and 7th Congressional districts, and Republican primary for a U.S. Senate seat held by Democrat Tim Kaine.

 It’s primary day in Virginia where most area voters are deciding who they want to run in the 5th District Congressional race for both Republicans and Democrats.

 Republican 5th District congressional hopeful John McGuire is getting an election eve appearance from Donald Trump, and UVA politics professor Larry Sabato thinks that will end Bob Good’s incumbency. 

Albemarle Police confirm an investigation of a report of a verbal death threat made during the campaign stop by 5th District Congressional candidate John McGuire and Georgia Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene at the 5th Street County Office Building Wednesday.
