Despite opposition from UVA faculty, staff and students, as well as Governor-elect Abigail Spanberger, the school’s Board of Visitors’ presidential search committee will continue to interview candidates for the position over the next 15 days.

The group will now also meet Dec. 19 and Jan. 6 to discuss candidates, an apparent sign that it is pressing on with the search for the next president despite five unfilled seats and growing campus mistrust in the process.
