Community business and UVA leaders cut ribbon on Alumni Hall memorabilia store

It was U-V-A instead of a 3-2-1 countdown as about two-dozen community and UVA leaders, including CavMan and UVA cheerleaders, cut the ribbon Thursday morning on a new Hoos’ memorabilia store at Barracks Road Shopping Center.

Principal Unveils Mascot and Colors for New Charlottesville Middle School

Now Buford, and soon to be Charlottesville Middle School, will have a new mascot. Principal Rodney Jordan revealed in a 7th grade Town Hall the new mascot and nickname “Young Knights”, along with new school colors of orange-and-black.
