CHECK IT OUT
- June 20: The Broken Hearts & Chrome Horse @ Jefferson Theater – It’s the music of Tom Petty and Bob Dylan. That’s a solid night out at the theater. And these are some of the best musicians around who can pull it off. A true sonic retrospective.
- June 21: Adrian Younge @ The Southern Cafe & Music Hall – Jazz Is Dead is bringing one of the most influential behind-the-scenes figures in hip-hop to Charlottesville. Adrian Younge has produced songs for Kendrick Lamar, Snoop Dogg, and Wu Tang, he’s been sampled by Timbaland, and craziest of all, he used to be a lawyer until his soundtrack for the Blaxploitation film Black Dynamite.
