Virginia Women’s Basketball added guard depth through the transfer portal over the weekend, securing a commitment from Florida State transfer Raiane Dos Santos. The 5’9″ guard from Brazil appeared in 31 games for the Seminoles during the 2024–2025 season, playing spot minutes and averaging 2.6 points per game. Dos Santos began her college career at Gulf Coast State College, where she averaged double figures in her lone season of play.

She also represented the U19 Brazilian National Team in the Women’s Basketball World Cup in 2021. Dos Santos becomes the fifth transfer addition for the Cavaliers this offseason, joining Romi Levy, Sa’Myah Smith, Caitlin Weimar, and Adeang Ring.
