Charlottesville, VA (cvillerightnow.com): Virginia Volleyball has booked its first action of the 2025 season!  The Wahoos will participate in the first-ever ACC/SEC Challenge in the sport of Volleyball, The Shriner’s Childrens Showdown at The Net.  As the tournament begins in early September of 2025, the Hoos have matched up against the Auburn Tigers, playing on September the ninth.  Auburn and Virginia have played four times in Volleyball, and this will be their first meeting since 1989.  Virginia has one win in the all-time series against Auburn, while the Tigers triumphed in the other three.  Virginia’s game and all the others in the tournament will be broadcast on ESPN2, SEC Network, ACC Network, SEC Network+ and ACCNX.
