VA BEACH, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – CNBC’s new “Top States For Business” rankings for 2024 puts Virginia on the top for an unparalleled 6th time… and 3rd time in the last 5 years. Governor Youngkin was live on CNBC this morning in Virginia Beach for the unveiling saying “economic development is a team sport” and said his administration has been working with others to address “real areas of importance”.
The Governor touts Virginia’s Talent Accelerator recently rated the top talent program in America; creating shovel-ready business sites for companies to quickly locate here; and the all-in power plan that included the Wednesday unveiling of Dominion Energy’s small modular reactor at North Anna. The CNBC report itself says “the state’s public education system is the best in the country, and it took a bipartisan compromise to make it happen”.
