It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Virginia Sue Stone Creasy, of Scottsville, Virginia, on October 21, 2024, at the age of 84. Virginia was born on August 26, 1940, in Waco, Texas, to James E. and Margaritte Stone.

Virginia met the love of her life and beloved husband, Eddie O’Hare Creasy, at a Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) dance in Waco, Texas. Virginia and Eddie were married on June 10, 1993. Virginia was known for her strong will, unwavering determination, and love and support for her family and community. She was a devout member of the All Saints Anglican Church in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Virginia graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education from North Texas State in 1963 and embarked on a lengthy career as a legal secretary for some of the most prestigious law firms in Waco, Texas, Richmond, Virginia, and Charlottesville, Virginia. After retiring, she devoted her energy to the Ole Creasy Farm, which she loved so much. Throughout her life, Virginia was an accomplished trainer of Sheltie dogs and trained several championship-caliber Shelties. In addition to her dogs, Virginia loved the cows, horses, deer, foxes, and all other animals found on the Ole Creasy Farm.

Virginia was predeceased by her parents, James E. and Margaritte Stone, and her brother, Milton Stone. She is survived by her husband, Eddie O’Hare Creasy, and her cousin, Barbara Sholl.
