CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGH NOW) – The Virginia Baseball team jumped out to an early 2-0 lead but Kansas State battled back multiple times to tie the game at 2 and then again at 4 using the long ball multiple times.  With a narrow 5-4 lead heading into the 9th inning, the Cavalier offense took off with 5 runs in the ninth inning to blow the game open and playing as the road team their pitching closed the door in the bottom of the 9th ending the game with a strike out.  UVA pitcher Jay Woolfolk once again had a strong start for the Hoos, with 6 1/3 innings giving up 3 runs with 7 strike outs to earn the win and he is now 4-1 on the season.  Virginia moves on to the College World Series for the 7th time in program history.  Listen to the final call below on WINA Radio:
