CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – A key member of UVA’s Women’s Basketball team will not be participating in the 2024-25 season.

Senior guard Jillian Brown, in her final year on grounds, will be sidelined with an ACL injury.

The former Northwestern standout started 10 games for the Cavaliers last season, averaging about 6 points, 4 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game.

Brown also scored in double figures against ranked opponents, including No. 15 Florida State and No. 20 Louisville.

Although the ACL injury occurred in May, the announcement that Brown would be out for the season came on Tuesday.
