Charlottesville, VA (cvillerightnow.com): After a stellar 21-win season, one of UVA Volleyball’s finest young stars has been recognized with a roster spot on the 2024 All-ACC All-Freshman Team.  Zoey Dood is the first player since her teammate Brooklyn Borum back in 2021 to be named to the squad from UVA.  Dood posted 21 assists against Liberty on September 19th, notching 385 assists playing all 31 matches for the Hoos this season.  She also fired 16 service aces and 65 kills.  She’ll play her first match in the National Invitational Volleyball Championship on Sunday against the winner of North Carolina A&T and St. John’s.
