Budapest, Hungary (virginiasports.com): The World Aquatic 25m Championships ended its races on Thursday with four more Hoos posting World Record swims in multiple events.  Gretchen Walsh was at it again with another gold medal swim in the 100 SCM freestyle, her second gold at the event after a record in the 50m freestyle. Her time was a 50.31, the second fastest time at the event ever and an American record.  She hit yet another world record in the semifinals of the 100 SCM Individual Medley, toppling herself off the top step again, with a new time of 55.71.  She outswam her previous world record time posted back in October in Charlottesville, a 55.98.  The final Wahoo gold came in the 4×200 Individual Medley Relay, courtesy of Paige Madden, Alex Walsh, Claire Weinstein, and incoming freshman Katie Grimes.   Their squad posted a 7:30.13, smashing the previous record of 7:30.87.  With competition continuing through Sunday, expect similar updates to this one as UVA Swim & Dive continues to dominate both domestically and internationally.
