Greensboro, NC (cvillerightnow.com): The Virginia Women’s Swimming and Diving Team continues to dominate in the ACC Championship meet in North Carolina.  There were already some records set in the relay events back on Tuesday, and on Thursday, the Hoos took home several individual ACC titles.  Dynamite distance racer Katie Grimes added another title to her haul after a win in the 500 free Wednesday.  The first year won the 400 IM last night with a 3:59.69.  Veteran Aimee Canny, part of the record-breaking relay team from Tuesday in the 800, repeated in the 200 free with a 1:42.00, good for her second conference title in that event.  Finally, in one of the biggest races of the event, the 100 butterfly, Alex Walsh and Claire Curzan took on Stanford star and Olympic Gold Medalist Torri Huske.  Huske beat both, but Curzan and Walsh both made the podium in second and third.  Still to come today at the championships are the 200 Fly, 100 Back, 100 Breaststroke, and 400 Medley Relay.
