CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – UVA Professor Larry Sabato’s “Crystal Ball” was the answer — or question — in January 31’s broadcast of Jeopardy’s Tournament of Champions. The category was “Playing Non-Sports’ Ball” where the questions to the answers all used the word “ball”. This particular clue was for $1000 and read, “Larry Sabato has one for predicting political races, but also has the motto ‘he who lives by’ this ‘ends up eating ground glass!'” A contestant successfully answered “crystal ball”.
Sabato tells CvilleRightNow.com he’s received “almost as much mail” about this than people seeking reaction about President Trump’s executive orders. And, no X he posted, “I love Jeopardy. This is going in my obit.”
