CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – UVA Health orthopedics chair and UVA Orthopedics Center Director Dr. Bobby Chhabra had lofty goals a couple of months before the UVA Orthopedics Center on Ivy Road opened in 2022, and that goal is coming to fruition. Once again, the UVA orthopedics program makes Becker’s Hospital Review’s top 100. Dr. Chhabra says they take great pride in providing a “tremendous clinical experience, and incredibly high levels of access for patients not just regionally, but nationally”.

The programs are not ranked, but listed alphabetically among the 100, and the publication calls UVA Orthopedics as a ” leader in both clinical care and musculoskeletal research, recognized for its surgical innovations and research contributions.”
