Charlottesville, VA (cvillerightnow.com): Following a suspension of play in Round One on Monday evening in Reno for the Virginia Men’s Golf team during NCAA Regional Play, play was set to resume on Tuesday morning. However, Round One did not resume until the early afternoon on Tuesday because of a freak, unexpected, snowstorm, sweeping through the area. Fortunately, both the first and second rounds were completed on Tuesday after a shotgun start to round two. Once the snow cleared and the wind died down, Virginia had marched up the leaderboard into second place on the team leaderboard. They trail BYU by just one stroke going into round three. Virginia senior Paul Chang is atop the individual leaderboard through 15 holes in round two, shooting a 68 in the first round. Round two will conclude on Wednesday morning.
