Charlottesville, VA (virginiasports.com): Spring sports at the University of Virginia are right around the corner.  Baseball has already released its schedule for the 2025 regular season, and now the full 14 game slate for Virginia Lacrosse has also been completed and released.  On the scheduling approach, Head Coach Lars Tiffany introduced a key phrase to his scheduling approach, calling it “obstacle ladened.”  Said Coach Tiffany of this year’s games “We seek out non-conference opponents who are talented, well-coached and have a true shot of winning their league.”  The season is split into nine home games and five away contests, including one at a neutral site.  The Hoos’ opponents at Klockner Stadium in 2025 are Colgate (Feb. 8), Richmond (Feb. 15), High Point (Feb. 22), Maryland (March 15), UAlbany (March 18), Utah (March 22), Syracuse (March 29), Lafayette (April 19) and Duke (April 26).  They will be on the road at Ohio State (Feb. 22), Johns Hopkins (March 1), North Carolina (April 5) and Notre Dame (April 12).  Lastly, the neutral site game will be against Towson on the eighth of March, but the site has yet to be released.  You can follow the Virginia Men’s Lacrosse team all season long at both Virginiasports.com AND right here at Cvillerightnow.com.
