CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – In a season of giving, UVA Health is showing its appreciation for its 18,000 team members by donating a total of $37,500 to five Virginia nonprofits. The funds will support vital services across Charlottesville, Culpeper, and Northern Virginia, just as the holiday season kicks into full swing. UVA Health’s CEO, Dr. K. Craig Kent, says the donations honor the compassion and dedication of their staff, who make a difference every day.
The recipients include Loaves & Fishes Food Pantry, The Salvation Army Charlottesville, Culpeper Food Closet, Creating Foundations for Hope, and Fauquier FISH. Each organization will receive $7,500 to continue their work helping Virginians in need. Click here for all the information from UVA Health.
