Charlottesville, VA (cvillerightnow.com): UVA Field Hockey seniors Jans Croon and Suze Leemans earned yet more postseason honors Tuesday morning after being named Third-Team NFHCA All-Americans by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association.  Leemans was an All-ACC First team selection thanks to a stellar offensive campaign.  2024 saw her notch four goals in the first four games of the season, and in both NCAA tournament games at the end of it.  She finished with seven goals and two assists, totaling16 points as a vital point of attack for the Hoos. Croon was a rock in the defensive line for UVA, earning the distinction of ACC Defensive Player of the Year last month.  She helped the Hoos keep five clean sheets, and at the other end scored four goals and assisted on four others.
