Charlottesville, VA (cvillerightnow.com): Head Coach Ryan Odom and Virginia Basketball has landed another commitment for the upcoming 2025-26 season!  Former Oklahoma Guard Duke Miles will join the Virginia Cavaliers alongside new Wahoos Jacari White (transfer from North Dakota State), Sam Lewis (transfer from Toledo), Silas Barksdale and Chance Mallory (In-state High School Commitments).  Miles averaged 9.4 points, 2.5 boards, and 2 assists this past season for the Sooners that ended with their NCAA tournament first round defeat at the hands of the UCONN Huskies.  Last year was a down year for Miles, he averaged nearly double his 2024-25-mark last season with 17.5.  Both this year and last year however, he was an excellent shooter, making 51.4% of his field goals this year and 52.8% last year.  His three-point percentage mark are equally impressive, shooting 43% this past season.  Miles will join a smaller, quicker, Cavalier team made up of high-volume shooters under its new head coach.
