CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA. (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) — Virginia baseball’s home game against George Washington has been moved from Tuesday at 3 p.m. to Wednesday at 4 p.m., head coach Chris Pollard announced during media availability on Monday.
Pollard said the move is due to better temperatures forecasted for Wednesday, as well as the game’s current conflict with men’s basketball’s home game against NC State on Tuesday at 7 p.m. He said the move has been in the works.
UVA is currently 6-1 coming off a 2-1 road trip to Florida over the weekend, with its lone loss coming against Stetson on Saturday 6-5. George Washington is 1-5 and coming off a series loss to Lehigh over the weekend.
