Charlottesville, VA (CVILLE RIGHT NOW) – The 14th Annual United Nations of Comedy is set to bring laughter to the Paramount Theater in Charlottesville on Saturday, November 16th at 8:00 PM. This year’s headliner is comedian Jordan Rock, known for his roles on HBO Max, Netflix, and Hulu. Rock’s comedic style is described as “fun, easily digestible, and light,” offering audiences a show that promises a good time. 

When talking about his comedic persona, Rock humorously emphasized his distinct approach, highlighting his unique place in the world of comedy. He shared his approach, saying, “ I like telling jokes that only I can tell. Or like, jokes that are genuine to me. So definitely what’s happening in front of me and anything that I’m that is pressing my mind for a while.” 

When asked about incorporating politics into his act, Rock humorously compared it to wrestling fans, saying, “You only deal with heels and faces, you know, it’s just the red brand or the blue brand for you.”

Rock added that he enjoys performing in Charlottesville, calling it a place where he’s “always had a good time.”
